You have mesothelioma.
But after all has been said and done, it will help you a lot
to gather the pieces of yourself and start to move on with life. Much to your
desire to deny that you have that illness, sooner or later, you’ll have to
accept the fact that you have it. Indeed, denial can only serve to hasten the
pain.
Accept that you have mesothelioma. Then and only then will
you start to realize that you are still blessed. That God has gifted you with a
wonderful life. That life is worth living. Thank God for that. And give it all
to Him.
Remember the saying: “Let go, let God, let be.”
Let go of the fears that your ailment will worsen. It will
come to pass eventually. Let God be your healer. Lift up your suffering to Him.
He knows what’s best for you. When you do that, surrender not to the fate, but
to your faith. You’ll eventually come to your senses that the next best thing
that God wants you to do is to seek the best medical help around.
And you decide to get treated, always inform your family
about it. You need their support to keep going. Rejoice with the fact that
other than God, you have a loving family who’ll stand by you at the most
painful moments of your therapy and the grimmest moments of your life. You have
friends who will pray for you, who will visit you, who will cheer you up.
Suffering from mesothelioma doesn’t have to be really
painful. In the end, if you only know how to give Him a call and cherish the
people around you, you’ll eventually find out that the pain is not important. What
matters most is that you have everyone you love around you to help you see
through the rough and narrow road of recovering from mesothelioma.
